Yeah… This guy believes that one of the largest and oldest religions in the world will just disappear.
They’ll be forced to convert to Christianity or suffer the consequences?
That sounds familiar.
This letter was delivered to a Sikh American family in Sterling, VA. A community very close to where I live. Close to Washington DC. An area with a lot of Muslims, and Arabs and South Asians. An area that is supposed to be tolerant. An area that is filled with many government officials. I can’t help but wonder if someone who works in the government and lives in Sterling wrote that letter.
Islamophobia affects us all. And worst of all, it affects people who are not even Muslim. Although they are not Muslim, they are being targeted because of the way they look. This was meant for us. To anyone who thinks Islamophobia is dead, it’s not.
bolded for emphasis
Sikhs are NOT Muslims. Islamophobia has reached such a paramount that people who aren’t even associated with Islam are becoming targets.
Like damn, if you’re going to be living in the dark ages with the amount of ignorance you harbor, at least make an effort to hate the right people. Lethal idiots.
Fucking hell, people make me sick.
Apparently brown=Muslim to these people. Jesus, imagine getting this through the door. How could you stay there knowing one of your neighbours did this, fucking hell.
Fox News headline vs. Real Headline of the day.
I don’t usually contribute my personal opinion to posts on RFN, but explode? Fox, you take a perfectly acceptable headline on an article about Muslim Americans and change the word “grows” to “explode?” EXPLODE? What kind of fucked up xenophobic, Islamaphobic, word association bullshit is that? This should be removed from the Fox Nation site immediately.
Amid Anti-Islam Fearmongering, Muslims Should Actually Fear Other Americans
We’re now more than three years into Barack Obama’s tenure as an openly Christian president, and the “Muslim” rumors won’t go away. With anti-Muslim Obama attacks on the rise, a reminder: Muslims in America have a lot more to worry about than Christians.
In a Monday appearance on MSNBC program Andrea Mitchell Reports, Rick Santorum spokeswoman Alice Stewart chastised Obama’s “radical Islamic policies.” Stewart would later say that she “misspoke,” but her fearmongering statement had already been set loose onto the public. One day later, Franklin Graham, son of televangelist Billy, would go on MSNBC’s Morning Joe to theorize that Obama may not be a Christian. “All I know is that under Obama, President Obama, the Muslims of the world, he seems to be more concerned about them than the Christians that are being murdered,” Graham said.
Obama himself has said time and again that he’s a Christian, doing everything from celebrating Christian holidays to publicly attending a Christian church. But the rumors are as persistent as they are grounded in fantasy. Worse still is that if Stewart and Graham are to be believed, American Muslims are waging a major aggression against American Christians, while in fact, quite the opposite is true …
When the New York Police Department was doing some spying on Muslim students outside the city (that’s a thing it does, we learned from the Associated Press on Monday), an apartment officers used to spy on Rutgers students got a visit from the FBI on a report that it was a terrorist cell itself. This is the kind of reporting that won the AP a Polk award Monday for its series on the NYPD spying on Muslims. Not only did the department go well outside its jurisdiction to “get a better handle on what was occurring at” Muslim Student Associations, as spokesman Paul Browne told the AP, it did so in a pretty Keystone Kops manner at times:
Police also were interested in the Muslim student group at Rutgers, in New Brunswick, New Jersey. In 2009, undercover NYPD officers had a safe house in an apartment not far from campus. The operation was blown when the building superintendent stumbled upon the safe house and, thinking it was some sort of a terrorist cell, called the police emerency dispatcher.
The FBI responded and determined that monitoring Rutgers students was one of the operation’s objectives, current and former federal officials said.
This is too good.
The New Zealand Government is running a poll on a placing a ban on Niqab.
Visit the official voting link below and Vote “No”. It would be a huge help to those Niqabis in New Zealand. JazakAllah Khair!
